im looking to up grading my GPU in time for GTA

my rig is budget it has

CPU: AMD 6300 6core Black edition
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws-X
PSU: Corsair CX500 Power supply - 500 Watt
GPU: GeForce GT640

i have been looking at the EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX760 2GB GDDR5 witch is currently £139
or there was a ASUS 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti PCIe for £120
can anyone help me with this

Went with 760:
Requires minimum 500 watt PSU
I would reccommend you get a bigger PSU if you want to get the 760.

Went with 750 TI:
Requires minimum 300 watt PSU
You would be fine, as the default 750 ti requires a 300 watt psu. so you have a little head room, but not a lot.

how much more performance will i get out of the 760 is it worth me getting a new psc

If you did go with the 760, it has about 20 more FPS than the 750 TI in Crysis 3 and BioShock. If you just want a percentage increase, it is about a 30-40% increase in performance rather than the 750 TI. In regards to buying a new PSU, yes. Eventually, you will want to upgrade something, but will most likely be limited to your PSU.

So, yes, the 760 will give much more performance, and it will be worth getting a new PSU. 600w+.
