So for Christmas I got a few games for the PS4 I bought last month. So far, they've all worked just fine, but yesterday I started playing The Last of Us Remastered on PS4, played for about an hour and a half, then paused the game to go eat dinner.
Almost an hour later, I come back up to continue my game only to notice my PS4 was turned off. Like, completely.
I turned it on hoping there wasn't anything wrong. There didn't seem to be. It booted up perfectly fine.
I tried to launch the game again, but while the disc did load, the game was stuck at the loading screen doing nothing.
I restarted the system and tried again. Still nothing.
I took the disc out. It was still a brand new copy I got on Christmas, so it was spotless.
I figured that maybe since the PS4 turned off, the saved data got corrupted. Yeah, I would have to start all over, but at least it would work again. STILL NOTHING.
So I deleted the game's install data completely. STILL NOTHING.
My PS4 plays Battlefield 4, GTA5, Infamous Second Son all perfectly fine.
I'm not sure what to do. Literally every single game except The Last of Us works, digital or not, so it couldn't be a Blu-ray reading issue.
