My new build for PLEX Server, which I love and am proud of since its my first complete bulld from scratch, works awesome.. details will follow if you want to build a Plex server for yourself for a reasonable price...but using WMC on it seems to have a copyright issue popup all the time and it keeps telling me the graphics aren't up to snuff on it so I want to add a graphics card that will definitely work with this so if anyone is using the same board, please chime in.

I need either a (x8) PCI-E 3.0 or a (x4) PCI-E 2.0 in x8 graphics card...
if I should use one slot over the other, please let me know. Thanks for any and all help. Below is my current build

Rosewill Line-M case $30-$50 depending in when you get it and rebates
Xeon E3-1230 V2 CPU $210-ish
Supermicro X9SCM-F $135 (which I paid on Ebay new and the guy has one left) up to $200 elsewhere
ECC Unbuffered RAM 8GB = 4x 2GB PC3L-10600E DDR3L 1333MHz Low Voltage Memory LOT
( 301447273003 ) $75 Total shipped off Ebay... Item # in () incase you are after RAM, the guy has great prices, ships fast and the RAM works FANTASTIC! Couldn't be happier since this board seems a bitch to find compatible ECC RAM for at a decent price.
Corsair PSU CX430M $30 I paid on black Fri- Sells for $60 usually
A 3.0 USB Card $12 off Ebay and a E-sata Card for like $5

ALL in ALL this appears to be finally exactly what I wanted and works great, now if I can get Windows Media Center working properly again with my Cablecard, I will be ecstatic.

Hmmm....

M5A97 R2.0 supports ECC memory and is only ~$85 NEW and has traditional 16X length PCIE slots.
FX-8320E offers 80% of the transcoding performance of the E3-1230V2 for ~65% of the price.
Brand new 4GB 1600MT/s ECC UDIMMs from Hynix/Micron/Kingston/Samsung are only ~$45-50 each. I don't think you saved enough going with an ebay option there to justify it but whatever.
The CX430 for $30 is not a special deal, that's about what they are worth. There are so many PSUs for $55-60 that are built so much better than the CX/builder series. The "regular" price of the CX/builder series is well known as "selling the corsair name" and nothing more.
