I got an r9 290 for Christmas and I have been having problems with it ever since, I am able to play games for about 20 mins before it crashes, sound goes all funny, screen goes black and the PC reboots. I noticed that I had Nvidia audio drivers installed, and when i put my 290 in after wiping the drivers for it, it installed Nvidia audio drivers? Surely they are only used for Nvidia cards? Anyway I've just installed a new powerful cpu fan to try and stop the crashed with my 290, I have also just uninstalled Nvidia drivers from the control panel (My old gpu was an Nvidia gtx 650) and the nvidia audio drivers. Just wondering if the AMD cards do actually need the Nvidia audio? Thanks
