Hi, I just finished building my new PC and am having huge problems! To start, I cannot boot my PC with 2 sticks of ram, I tried every combination in ALL the slots and it still only boots up with a single stick of ram. (when I try to run Dual Channel and boot up, the computer goes into a shutdown/boot-up loop!)
on top of that, when I boot the system with a single stick of Ram, I get no Visual on my monitor what so ever... UGH! Please help!

Specs:

Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X-SLI

Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G2

CPU: i5 4690K

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Solution
Since it works with only one stick at least we know the RAM works. Do both sticks work when tested alone? If yes then unplug the PC and put them both in and hold the power button for 10 seconds, take out the CMOS battery and flip it the wrong way and insert it. Keep it there for 30 seconds and take it out and put it the right way in. Now plug the power back in and cross your fingers that it works now. If not I have had a board work by leaving it unplugged overnight.
