So I am completely new to overclocking and I'm pretty scared to try stuff on my own. I've looked at multiple articles on how to do it, but I'm still unsure of how to go about doing it. Right now my specs are
CPU-8350
MOBO-ASRock 990fx Killer
GPU-MSI r9 280
CPU COOLER-Corsair h100i
PSU-EVGA 750W Gold rated
HDD-Seagate Barracuda 1TB
SSD-Corsair LS series 240 GB
RAM-8GB RAM
CASE-NZXT H440
I want to overclock from the bios and stress test through prime95. Send help fam.

When your computer starts, press the delete(DEL) button and wait until the BIOS screen pops up, there will be an 'OC Tweaker' tab, second one, that will allow you to overclock your components. You will have to change the first option which is 'OC mode' from manual to auto and change the CPU frequency to whatever you'd like to change it to. That's the safest way to do it.

I have the same board, same processor. ;D

Hope I was helpful. Let me know if you have any more questions, have a good one!

Yeah, I know how to do that, but I'm not sure of the settings. What I should set everything to, how much, how to stress test it, the numbers, the multipliers, the core voltage, all that stuff.
