I'm running an Intel Corei5 4690k OC @4.3Ghz Stable on an MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard with 8Gb of G.Skills Ripjaws X Series RAM and a 1000W EVGA SuperNova 1000G2 PSU with 2x MSI R9 280 GPU's in CrossfireX. When I check my CPU's clock speed in CPUZ, it shows that it's hovering around 4.3Ghz, which is great, that's where I want it, however, when I go into Task Manager and the Performance tab, it shows that my CPU is running at 5.2Ghz, or 121% of the maximum clock speed. Should I be concerned or is Windows just reading it out wrong?

Sounds like Windows is reading it wrong. I mean it's possible for a 4690K to OC to 5.2GHz but it would be needing high voltages, and superb cooling. Download another program that shows clock speed to compare with CPU-Z and Windows Task Manager. Also check the speed at the BIOS. If your CPU multiplier is not set to 52x (or whatever is needed for 5.2ghz) then Windows is wrong.

OCCT also reads it as 4.3Ghz, so I guess Windows is just wrong. I just didn't want my CPU to be harmed just in case. Thanks for the answer dude!
