Do I need to upgrade my desktop from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 ?

I am using Windows 7 x64 for a very long time, and I hadn't had any problems with it, no lag, no security issues, these two naughty things (my desktop & Windows 7) are very good friends. I can get a genuine copy of Windows 8.1 Pro from a local store for less than 140$ and I am so confused about this situation. It's worth buying ? Windows 8.1 is a little bit better that Windows 7 in terms of handling and managing resources, but I don't know what to say... I don't think I am going to feel a segnificant difference between this two Operating Systems.

Desktop Sprecifications:

Intel Xeon X5650 2.66GHz Hexa-Core Processor
ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB GDDR5
8GB DDR3 1600MHz Non-ECC RAM
ASUS Rampage III Gene Main Board
Corsair Mid-Range Liqiud Cooling System

windows 10 will be out soon (you can legally use release candidates now if you want for free) and it is better than 7 or 8 so I would hold out for a while longer. no need to upgrade
