Good day everyone! :) hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

So my girlfriend had recently purchased for me a nice M5A99X EVO R2.0 from newegg since my old ASUS motherboard was almost 8 years old, it was due for a new swap. So today, along with the AMD Black 5320 Processor she purchased for me, i was able to finally work on my computer exchanging out old parts for the new one. The rest of my parts are remotely new and in good condition, that being a NVIDIA GTX 540 and 8 GB DDR3 Corsair RAM that she too, also purchased for me on my birthday this year. However, i have ran into an issue and i would hope that it wouldn't be considered a DOA since i am getting other lights to come up...

Situation? after everything else is installed and boots up, my computer refuses to POST, and stays on a black screen and doesn't even show the motherboard. However, my keyboard and mouse light up and become active when plugged in, and i have a few red lights flicker for a few moments then go off... however, amongst the many one stays on after they all dissipate being the VGA_LED light. I've swapped out the video card for an older PCI Express model, still the same issue and even changed spots on the motherboard. I read everywhere online for a solution, and some mentioned that the Graphics card may be powered incorrectly but i'm pretty sure its installed properly. Regardless, i've also unplugged all the wires and replugged them back in, took out all but one RAM stick to see if it worked, and even took out ALL RAM sticks to see if it will actually beep or give any different results.. However, no beeps came from my motherboard at all.. some forums mention a 'Case Speaker', which apparently my motherboard nor case have been included with one. I would hate to just stare at a broken overlysized paperweight on my desk, and despite having built a few computers in my time i could use an extra set of knowledgeable people to help me troubleshoot my issues. I will post any additional information if asked for it if available to do so :)

Please and Thank you!

I have checked the last 4 of the motherboard and i got the numbers 2201, along the serial barcode sticker on the rim of the motherboard. However i apologize since i'm unfamiliar with this comparison, how do i compare if my CPU is compatible with my motherboard?
