Cloned into my new SSD, but can't boot from it.

I've cloned my HDD onto my new Samsung Evo 840 SSD, but I can't boot from the SSD. I've gone into the BIOS and changed the boot order. I've disconnected the HDD and left only the SSD connected, but it still tells me to "Select proper Boot device". I'm running windows 8.1.

Solution
2 options:

1. Clean install
or
2. Redo the clone/migration thing, this time ensuring you also have the System Reserved partition selected as well.

My always recommendation - a clean install on a new SSD.

I used the EaseUS Todo program as the link said. I'm currently re-cloning the disk, because I might have just cloned it without the System Reserved partition like you said. This time I selected the entire disk, not just a partition on it. Will update you guys on that when it's done.

I've deleted enough data for it to fit in my new SSD. If I have to delete everything except windows, wouldn't it be better to just do a clean install?
