So I got a new modem and router when I upgraded my speeds with my ISP.
Router:
TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mpbs, IP QoS, WPS Button
Modem:
Cisco Model DPC3010 DOCSIS 3.0 8x4 Cable Modem - Cable modem - external - Hi-Speed USB / Gigabit E

My Laptop and game consoles run at the appropriate speed of 50-60 down and 6-8 up. These are normal. My desktop runs at these speeds to when Im directly connected to the modem. They all look like this:

However, when I run through the router my speeds drop immensely. And I've tried everything. My ISP came out and ran new wires. I bought both a new wired network card and wireless network card for my desktop and got nothing. It looks like this:

I've tried everything I can think of. Im completely stuck now. I've tried switching back to the old router and Im still getting the slower speed. And whenever I hardwire my laptop to the router, I get the good speeds so Im guessing its a setting somewhere on my desktop. Any thoughts on what could have changed?

As your laptops will be using wireless then the area or location which they are in may be affecting there signal? Or have you downloaded the newest drivers for your laptops?

My laptops, xbox, playstation, tablets, etc. are working fine. They are not the issue. It is my desktop PC connected through the router that is the issue.

Sorry I did not quite understand the question. I do now.

So your desktop; you want it connected wired or wireless? - Does it work with any of those connection types? (wired and wireless).
