gtx 970 or R9 295x2 which one should I get ?

ok well the choice is to get the GTX 970 MSI Gold edition or the Sapphire r9 295x2 , one would allow for a massive Overclock in the future and one is basically a AMD Titan gpu ( at least their version of a titan )

I want to know which is Future proof ? Which will allow me to use the Unreal Editor to create massive Scenes ?

and should I wait for AMD's 300 Series to come out ? I have the time to wait and im not really in a rush sooo should I Considering that I am a AMD Fanboy ?
( yes Intel is better and right now so is Nvidia so lets not turn this into a fanboy war )

The R9 295x2 is the best out of those options but I'd rather get sli 970's instead. It will perform better and it will use less power than a R9 295x2.

You are comparing a gtx 970 = r9 290x with a Dual GPU. Also the R9 295X2 is 2 R9 290x that have been oc. The 295 is better but for the same price you can have 2970. If you wait you will get the cards with the reference cooler and stuff. They will have alot of problems. Get the R9 295X2 but if you can get 2 970.
