Hey I just built my new PC, first one and it turned out fine. If you are interested ill post my specs in this message. I am wondering if there is anything else I need that would make my PC better, cooler, etc... and great entry level games (I have Skyrim, Csgo, and Dayz already, my steam is ninga637)

Intel i7 4790
PNY GeForce GTX 760
Asus Z97-P
Kingston hyper-x 8gb of ram (2 * 4gb)
520 intel ssd (240 gb) (for boot and to fast reach apps)
seagate barracuda 7200 (for storage)
thermaltake 700w PSU

Solution
i agree with sparestuff

but reading that you just built it , i think it would not be possible for you (just a sidenote , you could have opted for an i5 4460 and a 600Wpsu , then putting in the cash saved for atleast a 280x if not a 770)

Anyway

Software

1.Ccleaner
2. AVG, avast,or kaspersky+malwarebytes
3.MSI afterburner/Speccy/speedfan for temp and other monitoring
4.prime95/furmark/uniengine heaven
5.saints row 4/SHOVEL KNIGHT/DARKSOULS (1 NOT 2)(great games in the fun department, but not so much intensive)
Games

1. witcher 2
2.Crysis 3
3.Dragon age inquisition
4.middle earth shadow of mordor
5.AC unity

the above are some of the most demanding games out there in the market

cooling- hyper 212 evo, although intel stocks are good...

The GTX 760 is capable of running games at ultra or very high settings with 30+ FPS at 1080p. I get 30+ FPS on Metro: Last Light which is another demanding game. If you can't max out a game then disabling AA is all you probably need.

Thanks, yea i was thinking later about getting a gtx970 but for now so far my gpu is destroying every game I throw at it, i guess that will change when i get shadow of mordor

i have a corsair h100i installed

and i am also thinking about upgrading to 16 gb of memory

i donot use liq coolind , but the h100i will keep your rig cool.

And dont, just saveup on the RAM ,

dragon age inquisition /shadow of mordor/witcher 2 take just 5-6GB ram (wile my OS is also running which takes about 3gb)

also the performance in games willl be same for 8gb as well as 16gb. the same goes for the freq and latency

you wont see the difference between , lets say - a 1333mhz cas 11 ram from a 2133mhz and latency 7 ram while gaming ,But if you use 3d software/videoedit you are going to need it

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me! Quite honestly then my rig is fine for now (maybe a possible GPU upgrade, maybe then) Gonna skip AC unity but witcher 2 is $4.00 i think on steam so that and ill wait for shadow of mordor.

My steam name: Kitty Slayer

Thanks for all your help!
