Hi,
I had problems with the realtek network controler and after doing everything possible to resolve this problema i realize that were bios updates for this problem.
I did the bios update but now the computer won't start at all. It doesn't even shows post messages.
I've disconnect everything possible, did the cmos erase routine acording to the motherboard book but still got nothing.
Any ideas that i should do?
Thanks

Check to make sure your motherboard doesn't have a backup BIOS. Some of them have a switch on the board that will switch to the backup in case of a failed or wrong BIOS update. As I don't know what you installed, I can't say which happened to you. Read your motherboard manual and look for something about a back-up BIOS to see if it applies to you. If not, you may have disabled your motherboard with the wrong BIOS update. You could try sending it to the manufacturer to have them correct it, but they may charge. All you can do is try. Good luck.

if your system has a gpu plug the video cable into the onboard video port the mb may have failed over to it. also try bare boning it. no video card and one ram stick. if there nothing on the monitor see if the cd rom or floppy drive seek at boot. if they do and you tried flashing the bios from inside windows you may be able to recover the bios.
try puting the bios file on fat 32 usb stick and floppy and see if the system wil lread and recover.
google award bios recovery there few good web pages on how to make a award bios recovry disk.

Thaks for your answers,

I've tried all that and nothing.

I can't see any post messages, so it's not geting to boot. I've taken out eveything from hd's, cd, boards... the lot and still can't get no response.
It's dead and i can' see a solution...
