I recently attempted to install a new graphics card to my computer, unfortunately when attempting to use it my monitor did not recognize it was plugged in. So unplugged the power source to the card and connected to integrated graphics and booted up in safe mode. I re-plugged in the new card and its fans were spinning but the computer failed to recognize anything other than the integrated graphics display driver or 'Standard VGA Graphics Adapter'. Attempting to use the setup on the disk that came with the card would instantly closed as well. I could only guess that maybe the card is incompatible with my system? Anyways I am at a loss as to what the problem may be, thanks in advance for the help.

Here is the motherboard specifications for my computer (hp model: h9-1185):

My computer has a 600W power supply and two PCI-E power connectors. I believe that meets the requirements.
