What does Semi mean for Power Supply?

I am on PC Part Picker and I am looking for a power supply. There is a category called Modular. The one I want to pick has it as No. What does that mean and what does Semi mean because that is another option.

Semi usually means ones that are basically guaranteed to be used are not removable. Such as the 24-pin main power and CPU power. It saves on construction costs compared to modular with very little drawbacks for the consumer (cant replace the cables if you break them for instance), But for all intents and purposes they are a slightly cheaper modular PSU.

Types of PSUs:
Non modular- None of the cables can be removed
Semi modular- Some of the cables can be removed
Fully modular- All of the cables can be removed

Having the option to use less cables or only use the cables you need greatly helps with clean cable management.

Semi-modular means that the cables most often used in builds are permanently attached (not pluggable) - I prefer those since it's one set of electrical connections I know are well made and will have no contact boundary issues.

Non-modular PSUs have all their cables permanently connected and leaves you with a bunch of unsightly cables you have to find a nice place to stow out of sight.
