Hello there,
Several days ago, I bought the Nvidia GeForce GT 730 1024MB DDR3 hoping to upgrade my graphics card from my old crappy Intel one (the intel should be integrated)

Once I installed the graphics card, I booted up my PC and there on my monitor, there was a blue screen that said HP on it which was normal because every time I boot my PC I see it.

However, I was stuck on that screen and my PC would not boot to windows.
There was also a beeping sound.
Here is a video of the beeping: http://youtu.be/_td2DxVluR0

I have AMI bios I believe and I checked the beep codes.
However, if I take out the graphics card, the computer boots up fine and works like normal.

I believe that It Is NOT the power supply because I upgraded mine yesterday to 520W from 300W.

Any suggestions? Is the graphics card faulty?
The graphics card is smaller then the slot so is it that,?

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I am running Windows 8.1 x64 and i checked the HP website for driver and software updates for my computer(HP Pavilion p7-1226s) and there was not any BIOS updates.

After, I went to the windows 7 selection for my PC and there was an BIOS update. I installed it, nothing changed.

Thank you
