rosewill Thor v2 case fan controller issues

I have a Rosewill Thor v2 case and am having issues with the fan controller. Namely the a side connections. All three of the b connections work fine. But when a fan is connected to any of the a connections it will start to spin and then stop. Any suggestions?

maybe bad connection

That is the case in question. But I cannot locate that particular connection shown in your picture, much less any loose ones in general.

It's strange because any fan connected to any of the three A ports will begin to spin for about a second then slowly stop
