Cant access BIOS on gigabyte 970a-ds3p ????

I was able to before but now i want to overclock and i restarted pc and the screen shows gigabyte along with boot menu n other stuff but no bios shows? like there is no text that says press this button for bios and there was before??

specs

windows 7 ultimate

gpu sapphire radeon r7 260x oc
cpu fx 6300

4gb ram

160hdd

Please help

Try clearing the CMOS. At restart it would wait for F1.

i shutdown and restarted and pressed F1 nothing happens

Yes, power off (unplug the power cord) and remove the CMOS battery for a minute or so.

What next? I booted and it said 3 options i chose boot with dedault settimgs abd wen i booted again bios setting wasnt there again???

Nah nothinh and now it just flashes gigabyte and pc doesnt actually boot windows ...im kinda worried

Try again. Make sure you that the power cord is unplugged.

One minute is OK. Make sure that you redo all connections properly on board after reseating the battery, in case you had to remove components in order to get access to the battery.

Cimputer starts briefly before turning iff and bak in again and then just black screen im gunna restart

Is the hard drive connected to the SATA port? Power off when checking connections.

I don't know what went wrong then. It might be a BIOS issue. Try tapping Del at restart, see if entering BIOS
