Hello Forums,

I am thinking of swapping my rig from AMD into Intel and I need some advice on what to get.

at the moment I have a AMD fx 8350 and a sabertooth 990fx.

What I am looking for is top of the range motherboard that will boost the fps and speeds of games (looking to spend around £200) and for the CPU I want the best 4 core you can get with hyper threading and will spend around £200-£300.

I prefer "already" overclocked components, as I cant overclock my self.

I want an upgrade from my existing rig so please do not recommend anything below of what I have.

Thanks in advance.

Im thinking of getting Two gtx970 g1 and I have heard the 8350 will bottleneck the sli

I have spent hours overclocking and I cant get it right so I cant be bothered to be honest with you rather have the company overclock it for me

No it won't. People will come here and say that a 8350 will bottleneck a single 970 and they are wrong. don't listen to them, and try to avoid that word here. If someone come here and tries to argue against this, I won't argue back as I am tired of people saying the 8350 bottlenecks the 970. I had a 970 with an 8350 and there was no bottleneck.

If you go step by step with the video, you will have a successful overclock. If you follow the video step by step and it still doesn't work, then there is an issue. The bios in the video should be the same as yours and this guy is great when it comes to overclocking.

Are you talking about a single gtx970? im talking about two gtx970, I dont think it bottlenecks one card.

I have a 600watts psu that will need a change I know that for sure.

ATM im just looking for the best motherboard for gaming, my friends has one with inbuilt ssd but forgot its name and his rig runs faster then mine and i have faster componants

I was saying that you would be fine with two 970's, but some people here don't understand what a bottleneck is and would say that it can't handle even a single 970.
