I need help wth my FPS in dayz

I am getting really bad fps on dayz
my specs are

core i5 2400
r7 260x 1gb
4gb ram
500gb wd blue

I have turned every thing off except
shadows
texture detail is normal
objects is low
and terrain is low

I have also messed around with every setting in the config files and the launch options


can some one help me with the fps

There are a couple of reasons you're getting bad fps. First off, dayz has next to no optimization meaning even $1200 PCs will get large fps dips in cities, and seeing as your PC is no where near worth 1200 it's no surprise you have bad fps. However the game's still in alpha(?) so optimization should come later on. Also you should turn off shadows like LaserNinja11 said.

All in all: Dayz has really bad optimization.
