Are these PSUs compatible and strong enough for this 970?

The PSU I have currently, a 500W ModXStream Pro
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016
and the PSU I may need to buy, Corsair CX600M
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

compatible with this 970

90% sure that the XC600M would be compatible and strong enough, but would this ModXStream PSU be strong enough to power this without problems?

Also: my current system specs (if needed);
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz
2x Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 4GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
1 SATA HDD
1 SATA SSD
1 Blu Ray BD-RE/DVD/CD Reader/Writer
2 120mm Fans,1 140mm Fan;

Solution
It is not enough as I showed which is why I said you need a new psu and suggested a great psu on sale :)

Your psu will not run the new system for very long if at all due to its low end 12v amps

Your CPU uses 84 Watts, The GTX970 Will uses 148 Watts. 84+148=232 You did not tell which motherboard you have. An average high end mobo uses about 80 Watts so thats a total of 312. Than 9Watts for the HDD And about 2 watts for the SSD= 323 Watts. About 30 watts for you CD Drive or whatever=353 Watts. 2 DDR3 Sticks will use about 3Watts each. So that brings you to a total of 359 only add about 10 watts more for your fans=369 And there you go. The 500 watt one will do the job :)

(Correct me if i am wrong)

your math is right but incomplete. what you are missing is the 12v amp check. the psu you have has 2 x 18 amp 12v rails which won't give a full 36 amps. even if it did you are at the high end of psu usage that is considered safe. assume only about 33-34 amps and the 369w/12v = 30.75 amps needed. you should go with a new psu since this one will be running to high too long to be safe.

a good 500w psu could do this easy but not the lower end one you have. looking at prices right now, this is a top of the line psu with all the power you need for your system

Cd drive should be nowhere near 30 watts, more like 5 at most I'd think. Regardless a 500 watt will be more than enough for your components, not sure about the xtreme one tho.. never heard of that brand. You may want to try to invest in a more quality PSU than the ones mentioned.

Power requirement for the system would be around 300 ~ 350W maximum. In theory the OCZ 500W PSU could supply the required load. However, the OCZ PSU uses lower grade components so there is a concern about reliability. It is suggested that the PSU be upgraded to a quality one.

It is preferred that the PSU have a single 12V rail and is modular as well to minimize cable congestion and allow easier component access. One such PSU is this.

I use a msi g41-b85 mobo
also, what bothers me more about the psu is the amperage that it has on its 12V rails, if that were enough for the 970
