I recently picked up a new seasonic 1050 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151110) and am in no mood to re-sleeve the cables. doe's anyone know if its possible to snag a 24 pin extension cable such as a mod smart or kobra cable set, and use them without out the stock seasonic cable?

Sure - you mean something like this - http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Power_Supplies/Testers_&_Cables/54629-CP-8920073?gclid=Cj0KEQiA8f6kBRCGhMPFtev8p58BEiQAaMLmqX1MQd3JEg1lZNLs_7eXIlhl4ILmUn43KIZh55Jnpe8aAs938P8HAQ

Check out this list as well (Scroll down for individual cables) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=19_1424

EDI UPDATE: Apologies, I thought they had other individual cables listed on PC Case Gear not just Corsair - they have Cable kits there for eVGA, Seasonic etc...my bad

Or the easier easy way out than mentioned above, a little cheaper too

http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Extension-Motherboard-PP07-MBR/dp/B00B46XKHY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1419814565&sr=8-2&keywords=psu+cable+extension

might be a bit harder to cable manage tho if u dont have much space behind the mobo

Make sure you get pre-sleeved cables that match your psu if you don't get cable extensions like the one I posted. I don't think getting corsair cables would be a good idea as suggested above
