why will random programs open and start using my cpu???

for the last month or so my computer fan has been running alot so i check what was running and its a windows programs i think it said local host or something and it was using all my cpu. i have to force shut the program down every time it randomly pops up. is there any program or way to stop this please help me.

localhost sounds like a virus or malware is causing the .dll to constantly open, run a virus scan and a malware scan
