Is it possible to use all different monitors in a multi monitor setup ?

You can use any monitor, any refresh rate, any size, and any cable. Sometimes 3 way setups people like to keep the same monitor if they are gaming with 3 way surround for consistency when gaming with all 3 at once.
Personally I have a big monitor and another different smaller one on the right for reading/extra windows.

Correct. It might look a bit iffy though if you have different settings for each monitor. Like if you have a TN panel and IPS panel set-up. One side is bright and vivid, full of color while the other is just plain bland.
If you can deal with that, then you can set-up dual screens with just about anything.

Okay, I have one IPS panel already, and I'm getting another 2 LED monitors for FPS games. Is there anything like a standard stand for keeping them together ? or do people get them custom made ? (Or I suppose I could just keep it on a table :/ )
