I was hoping someone could help me with this.
I've just bought components for a new PC, and two of them had promotions for free downloads. I've got two cards with codes that I have to enter on specific websites to get the software.
My question is, am I the only one that can use these codes (seeing as I bought the components), or could I give them to someone else to redeem instead of me using them?
One code provides a free game (which I already have), exclusive content for an online game (that I probably won't ever play) and a program that I have no use for. The other code allows me to download one of three games, all of which I'm not interested in.
So ideally, I'd like to trade or sell these codes. If I can't do that, I'd like to give them to someone rather than waste them.
I looked through the forum guidance section and couldn't find anything about topics like this, so I'm hoping it isn't against the rules to ask about this. If it, I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.
