Hey guys im running dual r9 290's, an over clocked FX-9370 @ 4.8GHz (Both on latest omega drivers) I Have a Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 (Latest Bios version) 16Gb of Kingston HyperX Blu Ram, Corsair TX850W PSU, 13 Case fans all in a CM Storm Scout 2 powering a 4k gaming screen and a 1080p secondary screen for temps during gaming. Until recently i have only had the 1080p screen and 1 of my 2 GPU's and got the 4k screen last week. When on the 1080p screen GPU and CPU run flat out on BF4 getting me ~120FPS, Benchmarks anything. After using this 4k screen my CPU or GPU usage wont ever max like i can only get 15fps on Far Cry 3 with 2 oced r9 290's!!! They will hit ~30% usage in FC3 and stay there forever. In BF4 i manage 40FPS Ultra 4k but again nothing is maxed not giving me my full potential. Hell not even 3d Firestrike, unigine heaven/valley can max anything that pulls all cores/gpus to about 95% but still wont max anything. I have tried different resolutions (only to find it uses less resources and outputs the exact same frames as before), reinstalling old drivers, reseting CCC settings, turning on VSync, re updating bios, ocing the cards everything i can think of and it wont max them out the only thing i can think of it being is the PSU maxing out but wouldnt it reboot, shutdown or bluescreen instead of just limiting Usage.. Any other ideas that might help?? It would be much appreciated, if you need anymore system specs just ask.
