I want to buy new GPU AMD r9 270 msi 2gb but i dont know is it compatible with my motherboard can somebody help my motherboard is Gigabyte h61m s2p?? Thank you

Gigabyte website says it depends on your CPU, but it should be fine. Worst case scenario is that you need both a cpu and motherboard upgrade to fully utilize the gpu.

It will be fine. I don't know where 20salmon found the CPU disclaimer, but it is the first I've heard of such a thing. Unless he was referring to the PCIe version 3 aspect. If you have a 2nd gen core processor the card will run at version 2.0 speed. Still faster than the card can use.
