So my default install location is:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

Now I want to keep my old games in that location, but the new ones in another hard drive. So would changing default install location to:
D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam

mess up anything. Also, what would be the most efficient way to fix this if it does.

Thanks

Solution
Hi Jake. Open up Steam. Go to Steam - > Settings. Then click the downloads tab on the left. At the top you should see a button called Steam Library Folders. Click that and then select "add library folder". You can use that to create a Steam Library on different volumes than the one you originally installed to. When you install a new game make sure to install it to the new library and it'll be there. Have fun!
