Hi everyone,
So I bought this cheap power supply when I build my rig wish 9 months later just blew up (bought this cause my budget was low atm). Fortunately it happened during night when it was turned off.

So now I'm looking for a new one and I have to say I'm an unusual lover for things looking good a good friend of mine who knows a lot more than me about this told me this is to much. But I'm in love with this EVGA psu. http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Platinum-Certified-220-P2-1000-XR/dp/B00EKJQM5E/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1419874464&sr=1-5

Here is what I will be using it on.

Case: Cooler master elite 430
motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990-fxa UD7 rev. 3.0
Cpu: Amd fx 8350 black edition
Gpu: Gigabyte gtx770 2gb oc (thinking of getting another later on fire)
Ram: 4x2gb Kingston fury
Case fans: x4 corsair 120mm red led fans
Fan controller: NZXT sentry 2
Cpu cooling system: cooler master seidon 120mm.
? : NZXT 2 meter of Red led light with controller
And a 500gb HDD and Bleu ray dvd reader.

So as I said I love everything that looks good but also has to be good. That's why I'd like to know what's about this psu. Thanks

I also missed where you said you might add another later on, in which case the 850w G2 or the P2 you're looking at that Blackbird also has would be a great choice, as indicated.

EVGA P2 1000w is a great choice here it is in my setup.

I like liquid cooling,( not water, liquid, water would corrode parts out rapidly, especially aluminum) in theory, but having worked on automotive cooling systems for over 25 years, I know for a fact that regardless how advanced the sealing system used is, it WILL eventually leak somewhere. At least with air you generally get a warning before a failure and even then the failures aren't catastrophic. Liquid cooling is probably too young to determine what's going to be likely when AIO systems begin failing.

Of course, this is probably an extreme case and a cheap product to begin with, it's almost assuredly less likely with a high quality product, but still.
