memory compatibility M5A99X EVO R2.0

hello i recenlty bought this motherboard M5A99X EVO R2.0 and think i might have a problem i have a DDR3 8gb kingston RAM from my old motherboard and i also ordered another DDR3 4gb kingston RAM but in the site i've ordered my 4gb RAM it says something about Chipsets and my motherboard's Chipset (M5A99X EVO R2.0) is not included on the list will i have a problem the motherboard recuires DDR3 both my RAM are DDR3 will i have a problem? ;/ sorry for my English

  1. The one that mentioned chipsets - is it a Fury? Regardless may well have to set up manually - the Fury runs off PnP so it will try and set itself up to it's specified freq

    KINGSTON HX316C10FR/4 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ HYPERX FURY RED SERIES this is the RAM i ordered should i cancel the order?

    Basically ANY TIME you mix DRAM it can be problematic, can try when you get the Fury, if any problems give me a shout and we'll try some adjustments, as mentioned might have problems w/ anything you try and mix with the old. Best is just a set of the full amount you want.
