Hey guys,

I'm looking to put another r9 270x into my system and I'm just wondering whether my PSU can handle it.

My setup is
CPU - i5-4440
Motherboard - Gigabyte H87M-DH3
PSU - Enermax NXRN 500W
GPU - (would be) 2 r9 270x

I went onto this site http://extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp and it recommended a 500W PSU. Would that be correct?
Also, do the two graphics cards have to be exactly the same model or can they be different versions of the 270x? i.e. Sapphire r9 290x vapor-x and a Sapphire r9 270x dual-x.

Solution
One uses up 180 watts 180x2=360 your CPU uses up another 84 watts= 444 total, and about 80 watts for the motherboard=524, So you will need a new PSU, Because this arent even all the parts from your PC. Search for an 650-700 Watt PSU, 500Watts is for a single card. And you can mix up two different R9 270x's
Like the Asus R9 270x + Sapphire R9 270x dual-x should work fine
