Hi guys!

I've been out of the hardware game for a while, but I need a completely new rig build as my old trusty laptop is just no cutting it anymore.

I do gaming. A lot. Mostly 4X or shooters but I do like to lay my hands on most major AAA titles (Inquistion prompted this new rig need).

The $1400 mark is for the PC only. I still need a monitor, aiming for either 1080p or 1440p. I plan to be playing from the couch, around 7 feet (2 meters) from the screen, so thinking 27 to 32 inches.

I should probably note I'm from Poland, so there will be some price variations, shouldn't be much of a problem with availability though (EU, after all). Anyway, don't fret and just link stuff from the usual retailers.

This is what I've come up with so far:

I plan to overclock and get a two-way SLI setup running at some point in the future.

I have no idea about the cooling and the PSU is a bit of a guess as well, so suggestions about those are particularly welcome.

I'm an Intel/Nvidia fanboy, so stick to those if you have suggestions in that area. Every other component is free game. Though I do feel better about the brands of the more recognizable variety.

As for the case I was planning on getting a Fractal Design Define R4/R5, just because they look sooo nice and have great organizing features. But feel free to point out alternatives.

Thanks for help in advance :)

Could I ask you to explain your choices a bit? I assume you suggested the i5 over the i7 because it's much cheaper and overclocks really nicely, but what about the MOBO, RAM and G-card?
