Im a new person to the whole pc building thing and need help in the picking the right parts for a decent starting computer. The main point I want to get across is that I want the pc to be upgradable so i can change things later in the future. If you could look at the part list disclosed inside the post and tell me if this rig will yeild decent results. Any feedback is appreciated

OK. You have chosen the end of the road as far as AMD is concerned. There is no CPU upgrade from there and nothing for that socket at the moment either.

Most games work better with fewer, more powerful cores. Very few take advantage of the way that CPU is organized. If you want a future, then you should look at Intel. AMD is about the 'here and now'.

Im looking to upgrade GPU along with CPU as I go along in my pc career. Would anything else be needed to be upgraded if I was to say move to a higher tier graphics card down the line?
(I am a extremely new person to the pc crowd)

could I add a R9 280X instead of the gpu you listed. Would over heating be a problem in that case?

Do you think you could recommend me a case that would allow suffiecent cooling but also allowing me to stay in my lower 600$ budget?

Lots of rebates.
Memory can be doubled, an i7 CPU can be used, Broadwell CPU will fit, and it will run a GTX 980 on the same PSU and without heat problems..
