I recently built myself a new computer with a FX6300 on the Asus M5A78l-M/USB3 motherboard and brought it along with two 3 pin case fans. I have hooked up through a splitter. I was wandering if there were any way I could control the speed of them, as they run at 100% all the time. I have tried Fan Xpert but this doesn't work because I'm running Windows 10 (I have also tried running in compatibility mode but this gives me an error saying that the motherboard isn't supported) Does any one know how a fix or another program that can help me?

Q-Fan in BIOS should do the job. If leaving single fan connected, still full speed? If yes, then it might be a controller issue.

Thanks for the fast reply. In the bios the only option for q-fan is for the cpu and I already have that set to silent. I have thought about a fan controller (the link you sent was to a usb3 hub) but i don't want to spend any money just yet. Are there any program that can do it?
