Hey i got a new PC after ages of using a slow brick of a laptop for years and have a question regarding my graphics, my current set up is;

Processor - Intel i5-2400 (4CPUs at 3.10GHz)
8GB RAM
Graphics card - Nividia Quadro NVS 295

I found i own a SAPPHIRE HD 6450 1GB DDR3 graphics card and was wondering if this would be better to use. I use my PC for some gaming (garrys mod stuff like that, not too serious) and Digital artwork (on Corel Painter 2015). I have been told mixed things about the sapphire car, that it overheats, burns out really fast and what not but then others have told me its great and it will allows me to run 2 screens. some advice would be appreciated,

Cheers, Cameron

The Quatro was an old, but a very expensive professional graphics card in its day. Not designed for gaming, the HD 6450 would be better. If the motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot, Try it and see for yourself since you have both cards. Install the HD 6450 and then install the driver for it: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
