Something bottlenecking my performance? Changed graphics cards and still no change in FPS.

PSU: Azza 850W
CPU: AMD FX-8120 8 Core 3.10ghz
GPU: Nvidia EVGA GTX 780 Ti OC
MB: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
RAM: 8GB G-Skill Ripjaws x2

No performance boost, everything runs exactly as it did before. Is there a problem I'm missing? All drivers are updated, PC is clear of viruses, HDD has enough free space.

Solution
Try running a few newer graphics intensive games like farcry 4, metro etc and then compare the framerates you get with those in some of the online reviews of your GPU. It is hard to believe that you didn't get a noticeable difference upgrading from GTX 650 to 780 Ti.
What game?
What resolution is your monitor?
What was your old graphics card?

As a note the FX8120 was a pretty bad CPU at release and is bad at single core performance, which is what games want. But it depends on the above info if that is true in your case or not.

You should also check your temps.

Use a temp monitoring utility like HWmonitor to check the temperatures and see if anything is overheating? Also, run benchmarks on GPU using OCCT and CPU using Hot CPU tester to get a fair idea which component is causing issues among the two. The GPU temps should remain below 85-90 and CPU should be below 65-70 degrees.

Secondly it also depends upon the game you are trying to play because if you are expecting 60 FPS in Assassin's Creed Unity at ultra settings, its not gonna happen. :p

Temperature is fine, card isn't overheating or anything it's performing at the same temperature. I'm currently testing it with CS:GO and Red Orchestra 2. Resolution is 1920x1080, Old GPU was an EVGA GTX 650. That's a price difference of over $600.

In that case, i would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers first. Also, it might be an issue with operating system. Run msconfig and disable unnecessary startup items and services except microsoft services and then try running the games.

Already did that, didn't help it.

80-130, where other people with my GPU can get up to 300 with CPU's that are just as powerful.

Your monitor CAN NOT EVEN DISPLAY that kind of FPS.

Your FPS is MORE than good enough, 60Hz monitors can only display 60FPS.

I just want to know where to go next and what to upgrade, i know my psu is shitty so that'll be upgraded soon. Is my cpu causing fps drop? I see builds with my gpu getting way better performance.
