I just migrated the data from my old hdd to my new Samsung 840 SSD, and after completion, it said to restart so that I can plug in my new drive. It now says "disk read error occured" and to press ctrl alt delete to restart. When I do, I keep getting the same message. Any advice would be awesome!

Did you migrate data only or an entire disk with OS and apps?
How large was the HDD compared to the SSD? It might be necessary to shrink the HDD partition to a smaller size than your SSD and re-migrate the data if you still have it intact.
