This is my first computer build and everything connected perfectly, i went to turn on the computer and the fans, green power light (under the GPU) and optical drive turned on. There was no Post / Sound to indicate an error or any display at all on the montior. I noticed that the DRAM-LED light was constantly on with/without RAM, I have tried to use the "Mem-Ok!" button but it cannot detect any errors.

I have tried using one stick of RAM in all the slots, all video cables (VGA / HDMI / DVI) and 5 different monitors, i have used both the motherboard and GPU to try and get display. I have also tried building outside the case to locate any other issues

I have had a friend round who has some knowledge in computers but he could not fix the issue, I am completely out of ideas and have read the manual too many times to count and you guys are my last resort, any help is greatly appreciated!

Im using a Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard

550 Watt PSU

5 Case Fans

i7 3770 CPU

2x4 Corsair Vengeance RAM (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9B)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Thank you!

Kind Regards,

Brad

Solution
You're welcome, but... it might be a CPU socket bent pins issue, or an overtightened CPU cooler, an issue in the CPU socket area.
