Hello, I am currently searching for good components for a solid gaming computer. I want to be able to handle games like Battlefield 4 on around 60fps (I don't really care about the settings being high or low, I atleast just want to run it on 60 frames), 7 Days To Die or Arma 3. These are the 3 main games that I want my PC to be able to run properly.

I am on a very tight budget here and I am trying to make the best of it, I am hoping to only be spending around $300 - $500 (Maybe $600).

Please make note of each of the parts and what the total cost would be and maybe a prediction of what the average frames I would be getting for games like Dayz or Arma 3 or Bf4. I've already got a monitor, hdd, DDR3 Ram and a GPU (Geforce GTX 660)

Thanks

While your GPU is a little on the old and underperforming side.

Get the below and save up for something like a GTX970 and you will have a very good gaming machine.

Hey man, thanks for the suggestion... I will look into it.

Can I just ask a few questions about upgrading my current PC right now?

1. I've currently got an Intel Core i3 550 for a CPU, if I were to upgrade to an i5, would I have to swap out my motherboard (Gigabyte Technology Co, System Model H57M-USB3) with a more compatible one and would I have to buy a new set of Ram too? I was just wondering since someone told me that I would have to get a new motherboard aswell as new ram.

Thanks Novuake for your help

I've just got one or two more question left, is it possible for me to only spend $150 - $200 on just a new motherboard and an i5 processor? I don't really mind what motherboard, cheap or expensive, I just want it to be compatible with an i5.

Oh and if you could, if I were to sell my current computer to any computer specialist shop or online, how much money do you think I could get back? I am not expecting an accurate answer, I just want to know if it's between $200 - $300 or $300 - $400 ect.

Thanks, this should hopefully be my last question.
