Hello. I've had Origin installed on my SSD which is the drive I have Windows installed on. The Origin Library and all the games were installed on a different Drive. I did the same with Steam. Recently I formatted the SSD and reinstalled windows. Today I installed Steam and Origin on the SSD and I was easily able to link Steam up with its Library on the other drive. I'm having no such luck with Origin however.

I've tried switching the "downloaded games location" in Origin. It's under Application Settings > Advanced. The Origin Library is on the "D" drive and I set it to that no problem but it's still telling me I need to download the game...

Any ideas? Thanks :)

Solution
when you formatted the drive you deleted all your registry settings for the games. Your computer doesn't know where the games are because you deleted the map it had for them.

You have to reinstall your games.

Games and applications/programs aren't transferable to new OS without reinstallation.
Only things like pictures, videos and documents are transferable.
