New RAM doesn't work with existing RAM

Hello, I have bought a new RAM, Transcend 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz of 1.5V .My PC specs are as follows : Motherboard - Gigabyte GA Z97M-D3H
Processor - Core i3-4130 3.4Ghz
RAM - Starlite 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz of 1.5V
OS - Win7 64bit
Everthing has worked fine with no problems at all. But when I bought the new RAM mentioned above and installed it, the PC doesn't boot up even to the BIOS, the cpu fan itself runs only for 10seconds and restarts again...this goes on until I turn it off..... Both the RAMs work fine singularly but give the above problem when installed together in any combination.
I have tried resetting the BIOS through the jumper and it is still the same. Both RAMs have similar CAS latencies i.e 9-9-9-24. I dont know what else to do, any help is appreciated.....Thank You

Unless things have changed, The RAM must be Identical to run in Dual mode.
That is why they are usually sold in Pairs. Same brand, Model, And all must be identical.
Or you can set Mobo BIOS to run them both seperately.
easiest way is to install in unmatched pair slots.
Otherwise you must set Mobo to run them In I believe it is unganged mode.

If RAM is not an identical Pair, then that is the problem.
If RAM is identical, that is not the problem

Sadly sometimes RAM modules don't get "along" with each other when coming from different brands, they might have the same voltage, CAS times etc but the issue remains on the type of chipset used to make the RAM modules, you'll have to return the new modules and get another set from the same brand you already have.

Yes, I checked with its manual and the newer one, the transcend one is listed while the other isn't. If that had been the case then my mobo shoudn't have booted up with the first one. Both RAMs work fine when installed separately. The problem occurs only when they are installed together.

I exchanged my Starlite RAM for another Transcend RAM, now it works fine.

Couple of corrections
No, DRAM does not have to be identical to run in dual channel mode (or tri or quad)
There are extremely few mobos that allow DRAM to run under different settings

and therefore both conclusions are also wrong - sorry
