Upgrade PC for better gaming performance

Hi, I'm looking to make my desktop better at running games. Currently it has an i5 650 and runs games at a fair pace, but it's not perfect. I was wondering if I should buy a new cpu or buy a graphics card. My motherboard is a Intel DQ57TM with a lga1156 cpu socket.

Any help is appreciated

Need full computer specs, video card, case, power supply. I'm guessing with that i5 you have at least 4 gig of RAM. If for some reason you don't, upgrade RAM to 4 gig.

The psu is a Power Man IP-S400DQ3-2, if that's even the right info.

That's about all I can tell you consider I have almost know clue what I'm doing

Without any info about your case or budget, a small form nVidia 750 Ti would work for a low to medium gaming system, it's probabl the fastest one you can get that will fit in a smaller case so would be safe to get.
