What are some of the most graphical intensive games?

Hey guys, so I've been buying games while they're on sale based on some videos I saw of best graphics games 2013 & 2014. So far I've bought Tomb Raider for only $6 and Splinter Cells: Blacklist and $10 yesterday, I haven't tried them yet, but I will. In the video, the guy was more focused on how cool the game was than how great the graphics were :pfff: But I'd like to have a bit of both. So far the games I've tried are: Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4, Skyrim, PvZ: Garden Warfare, Mass Effect Trilogy, Fable Anniversary, Sleeping Dogs, and Bloons TD5 (Hahaha, phone game on PC). I haven't tried Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and Crysis Trilogy yet. So if anyone has anymore suggestions on some of the best and intense graphical games that's out there, I'll look into them. Some people say Bioshock, Arma 3, and Witcher 3 are good, but without explaining why they're good. I'd like to have a very realistic graphical experience but also with a good story and game play to it. I will be playing them at 4k@ultra, so any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance :)

Yeah, I got 2 free game codes of that when I bought my SSDs. I was going to sell them, but no one wants it, I'm not really a AC fan anymore. I did hear that the game takes a lot to run it, thanks for the suggestion though, it's always welcome :)

I have no idea, I'm kinda waiting for 8k gaming, lol. So far FC4 and BF4 are the best in graphics, I'm not sure which one looks better since they look so real.

By the way, how do you make your own server with BF4? Or do you have to have some kind of special clearance for that? I'd probably have to have a really good internet connection to host it for great game play, right?

Yeah, I know Dragon Age: Inquisition is on sale right now, but for whatever reason, even after watching like 10 videos of it, I just can't find a single reason to show it is GOTY. Like what is fun or good about it game play wise? I just can't find anything good about it.

I have just tried Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the setting keeps resetting itself :( It always starts in windowed mode and slow lags, and I can't skip the Intros like Unreal Engine, Ubisoft, etc. So that was a pretty bad experience so far, the graphics are not as good as I thought it might be, looks like I'll play it at the very end when I am done with all the other games.

Ryse: Son of Rome on PC is the best looking game I've ever seen. I just finished playing the campaign and I absolutely loved it. The storytelling is superb and the gameplay is very addicting (at least to me). A lot of people thought the combat was too repetitive but I didn't. I really don't think that there is any better looking game out there than Ryse. If you can run it at 4k and at ultra settings then your eyes will be in for a feast! Also, you might want to try Shadow of Mordor (PC Version). That's another beautiful game. One last thing; give Dragon Age: Inquisition a chance. It does deserve GOTY I think but it's not something you'll be able to figure out by watching videos of it or reading reviews. If there is any game that can compare to the scope and epicness of The Lord of the Rings trilogy it's Dragon Age: Inquisition. There's actually a lot of similarities between the two.

Nice, I just checked out Ryse: Son of Rome, first game that I've seen that says "4k support" lol. It does have very positive reviews on Steam, so I guess it can't be all that bad. If Dragon Age: Inquisition has co-op mode, then I think it'll be better :D So far, Far Cry 4 is the best game for me in graphics and game play, especially co-op, it is much more fun, it feels like you're exploring Skyrim with a friend but with guns and vehicles. But I'll check out the games you've mentioned, thanks for the suggestions and explanation :)

I have a limited data usage so I can't buy and download any games through Steam. One of the few left who has to buy hard copy versions of PC games. Once I get Far Cry 4, and if I remember, I'll message you and we can team up lol. I'm trying to beat Dragon Age: Inquisition and AC Unity first but if I find a good deal on Far Cry 4 I'll go ahead and get it.

lol, okay. I heard Dragon Age: Inquisition has a very long story line, so it'll probably take you awhile to beat :D

I think Dragon Age: Inquisition is about to go off of sale, I'm not sure if I should get it just because it's popular and has some decent graphics. Or should I save the $ and wait for whatever the next game that's coming out on Origin?

i think one of the most graphically demanding would be Crysis 3 although i heard Ryse already take the crown. both coming from the same dev so that is to be expected. to me beautiful is beautiful. it doesn't have to do with photorealism (game like BF4 try to achieve this as i understand). Witcher 2 graphic was nice enough for me. Skyrim was about average.

as Splinter Cell Blacklist the graphic has improved from what can be seen from the previous installment. not the best but still better. and gameplay is a lot better as well. having said that i never play the series before Conviction so i don't know how the original Splinter Cell games are in term of gameplay. still consider that the game using very aging Unreal Engine 2.5 it is quite a feat they can come up with such good looking graphic with the engine. even better than Mass Effect series which use Unreal Engine 3. in the end it is up to developer to optimized the game engine. with upcoming Mass Effect going to use Frostbite 3.0 i hope they can give it similar detail to game as they did with Dragon Age Inquisition.

i just hope EA did not try to ruin great franchise like Dragon Age and Mass Effect by turn these series into yearly release like Ubi did with AC franchise. DA:I was such a good game because DA2 was kind of a flop :p

Can someone click this Steam link and tell me if it leads you to a picture? I've never done it before so I'm not sure, It's just a picture I took with Steam during 4k ultra game play, I'm not sure if it'll be clear for others if you're not on a 4k display.

it was a stand alone game. Warhead tells other story that also happen at the same time as the original Crysis time line through another member of Raptor team. some people considered both as Crysis 1. personally i like how the nanosuits are in the original Crysis. it is also fun at the highest difficulty since you won't understand what the enemy is saying unless you understand korean. :D
