I just ran a AIDA64 full load test with my i7 and got a max between all 4 cores of 80c to 88c

After 15 min of sitting at them temps it never budged above that temp. Is this normal?

I monitored my temps via CPUIP HWMonitor

these were the stats

VCORE 1.808
Core #0 MAX 85c
Core #1 MAX 86c
Core #2 MAX 84c
Core #3 MAX 81c

After ENDING my temps droped down to 30c-37c (boucning around really fast)

1.8V?!?!? It must be some invalid reading, the test would never pass with that voltage. Safe (according to Intel) voltages for this chip are up to 1.3V.

Temps you are getting are quite high, but are considered normal if you are using stock cooler. This CPU throttles at 100C.

I would still not use stock cooler with i7, ever. Get Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

You must have pulled some magic, HOW DID YOU GET 1.808 VOLTS? Liquid nitrogen? That would kill any cpu you throw at it. Now i assume you meant 1.08 volts, and if so that is a very unlucky cpu.
