Dell 15-3521 screen stays black/dull after replacement

Hey. I just happened to get a Dell Inspiron 15-3521 laptop from my friend. When it is started, the DELL logo appears on the screen but it is very black/dull.

So, I thought it was a screen problem and I replaced the LCD panel alone. After starting it up after that, it still is black/dull. What am I supposed to do? What other part might have been damaged?

Hi Zaraki92,

You can try connecting your laptop to external monitor & check for display. If the display comes up on external monitor then you need to replace LCD & LVDS cable. If the display still doesn't come up it might be an issue with motherboard.
