4-pin conector in 8-pin ATX_12V

Hello guys, I'm in doubt. Can I use the 4-pin power connector of my power supply in a 8-pin ATX_12V in the motherboard??

Specs:
motherboard: Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3
I think is Rev 5.0

CPU: FX-6300 vishera 3.5Ghz 95W
memories: 2 x 4Gb 1600MHz DDR3
Power supply: cooler master 500 RS-500-PCAR-D3
graphic card: msi radeon HD 6450 1Gb

if a modern PSU does not have an 8-pin CPU connector, then it isn't a good PSU...

Upon researching your PSU, it has a 4+4 pin CPU connector, why do you just want ot use 4 pins?
