Hi guys, I'm having trouble connecting two of my devices to the internet via WiFi. One is a laptop (Lenovo G560)-- I'm getting a "Windows was unable to connect to XXX" when trying to connect, and when I do an ipconfig /release, it says "No operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection while it has its media disconnected." I've tried reinstalling the wireless drivers but it doesn't seem to be working.

The second is a desktop with a TP-Link USB adapter. Same problem here as well.

The weird thing is that everything else works. I suspected that it's my modem or router, but my phone can connect fine, as does my Chromebook. My primary desktop is working fine via ethernet connection.

Thanks.

Dumb question, but have you tried disabling it, re-enable it, do a ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew? Also What kind of NIC card is in the laptop? (Can't seem to find it listed anywhere)

Yeah, I've tried and didn't seem to work. How can I look up the NIC card?
