MSI Z87M with Corsair H100i CPU cooler

The MSI Z87M has 2 CPU fan headers. Can I use these headers with the fans connected to the H100i closed loop cooler? Or would I need to use the normal system fan headers?

Actually I believe the i model uses an sata to fan/pump adapter. You can control it through Corsair's software.

It will deliver the full 12v I believe until you go in and change the fan profile. You will need to download the software direct from Corsair as it doesn't come in the box. Sorry, just got an h100i in the lab and its the first I have worked with it.
