I have a BioStar Hi-Fi A85S3 mobo and using 2x WD3000HLFS.

I ran RAID Option ROM Utility. I defined LD as RAID0, stripe block: 64KB, initialization: fast, gigabyte boundary:eek:n, read policy: read ahead, write policy: write back. Then assigned both drives.
Next I start installation and chose x64 Ultimate. Now on the Where do you want to install Windows screen, there is no drive listed. I tried loading the RAID driver included with mobo and it still no drives listed.
Please if anyone can help me I'd be so happy. Thank you everyone on this fabulous site!

first of all, don't call hardware RAID "stripped" stripping is software raid, it's something else entirely.

Now, assuming you set up the RAID right, you'll probably have to hunt down better AHCI/RAID drivers. I was thinking you weren't trying to install drivers for your raid during windows setup, i mean assuming the drive is setup correctly then that should work. So either you're trying to install the wrong drivers, or the drivers you have won't work with your version of windows. I don't know what's going on, but it sounds like you're pretty close.

see if there are newer drivers.

Thank you for your response. I was trying install drivers during win install under "Load Driver" selection. I went to the mobo`s site and win7 64bit RAID file is 0KB. So I got the x86. I guess it wont support 64bit because file is 0kb and the x86 file (along with x86 Win7) got it to read drive. Thank you again so much and keep up the great work! =)
